Here is a success story from one of our recent graduates.

As part of her criminal justice associate’s degree program, Adeline L. completed her externship in July with a local counseling center in Bakersfield. She had a great experience working at the center, and so when her externship ended Adeline started volunteering there.

Recently, the counseling center had a case worker job position opening and the director of the center asked Adeline to come in and interview for the position. Eager to perform well in the interview, Adeline stopped by the career services department to brush up on her interview skills.

We’re happy to report that Adeline did great during the interview, and is now the counseling center’s newest employee!
