Santa Barbara Business College’s Bakersfield campus will hold a College Night on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 7:00 pm. The career-focused college will welcome high school seniors and their parents, along with recent high school graduates, to visit the Bakersfield college campus on California Avenue to see what it could feel like to be part of the SBBCollege experience.
The SBBCollege College Night will feature a tour of the campus – including the labs where students receive medical training in phlebotomy and EKGs, and mini workshops specific to the College’s associate’s, bachelor’s and shorter-term career training programs. Visitors will also be given a chance to discuss the school with current students and alumni of the College’s business, criminal justice, medical assisting, and nursing programs.
For those interested in career opportunities available in Kern County, the career services department will be available to discuss SBBCollege’s job-placement assistance and externship programs. High school seniors and their parents can also learn about financial aid and the SBBCollege scholarships available.
Serving the communities of Bakersfield, Delano, Tehachapi, Shafter, Taft and other neighboring cities, SBBCollege Bakersfield is located at 5300 California Avenue.
