Students in the Santa Barbara Business College Paralegal Studies program receive real-world training that will prepare them for rewarding and exciting careers in the legal field.

Santa Barbara Business College’s paralegal training program, offered at the College’s Bakersfield, Ventura, Rancho Mirage and Online campuses, covers theory and applications of procedures used by paralegals.

As part of the program, students receive on-the-job training while still in school. Graduates receive an Associate of Science degree. The program can be completed in less than two years. Paralegal training enables graduates to assist attorneys in areas such as research, reporting and preparation of legal documents, agreements and exhibits. Graduates of the program are prepared to work in private law offices, bank trust departments, insurance companies and all levels of government.
