The California Strawberry Commission is awarding scholarship money for college!

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be a high school graduate and have at least one parent who is a strawberry field worker in California. Scholarship award amounts begin at $400, and can be renewed annually!

For the past 16 years, the California Strawberry Scholarship Program has given more than $1 million in college support to hundreds of students.

The application deadline for the scholarship is March 1, 2011.
